Responsibilities:

•To lead and manage Medical department(s)/function through active contribution in the areas of Strategy, Policies and Procedures and Operations.

•Acts as an Adviser/Consultant providing medical input and review to support the products. The ability to assist with defining product strategy is required. As such, the Medical Manager (MM) is a core member of the Medical Marketing Team. In addition, the MM has an important focus on interacting with the Regional, Global Medical Teams in New York, in order to maximise business opportunities.

•Facilitate the interaction/partnership between Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), Academia and Pfizer.

•Responsible for ensuring the Company’s adherence to high standards of conduct in all its dealings with the medical profession and supporting health care disciplines, and with consumers.

•Will be responsible in developing strategies’ that help maximise Pfizer value of products and services to both internal and external stake holders.

•Responsible in managing Medical Information function by way of complying with the local and Pfizer expectations and requirements.

•Manage and is responsible for the development and raising the Technical abilities of the team.

Qualifications:

• Medical qualifications with Malaysian Medical registration.

• Where necessary postgraduate post graduate qualification in relevant medical specialty is preferred.

• At least 3-5 years experience in Pharmaceutical industry with2- 3 years or more in a managerial capacity.

• Minimum 5 years local clinical practice experience.

• Good working knowledge of PhAMA, SAPI Code of Conduct.

Receive or conduct calls to provide product information and nutritional advice to customers, to encourage on conversion and retention of Abbott’s brands usage.

Maintain records of telephonic interactions.

Data entry and maintenance of customer databases.

Ensure that the service delivery to customers is of excellent quality.

Work closely with marketing/product managers to deliver brand knowledge to customers.

Perform other job-related duties as requested by supervisor.

Persuasion -- Persuading others to change their minds or behavior.

At least 1 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.

Responsibilities:

To efficiently use and manage function space to achieve maximum revenue and profitability.

To solicit from and confirm with clients all information pertaining to the event they are planning, and to organize and disseminate this information to all departments through approved methods of communications such as event orders, change orders, conference resumes, rooming list, in a professional and timely manner.

To initiate billing procedures to ensure that the hotel deals with creditable clientele as well as ensuring deposits and/or credit applications are received with adequate information and within an acceptable time frame.

Requirements: 

Diploma in business, marketing, or related discipline is preferred.
